Our ethos is sort of centered on getting out into nature and finding this powerful ability to restore ourselves into balance. A belief in the Laws of Nature that govern the world we live in.
John Muir is an inspiration as both a writer, an explorer, and a seeker of his Truth. This week we will find a design that is our first in a "core" category that we hope to keep slowly building upon.
Brick by brick, and stone by stone, every dream or endeavor is taken one step at a time.
With my children and wife in Sweden a good deal of the time these days, I get called to head back fast no matter how important my time here in the US is.
Our dream called Solgave, is 5 years in the making. I think this is the year we get to have some fun with Solgave Clothing as a vehicle to advocate the causes we care about, as well as a place to document the journey of personal growth and discovery that is very authentic for so many of us.
The mountains are calling, and I must go soon. LOL. Yes, that's a t shirt design, but it's also a very real statement from my heart as I glance at photos of my little ones and keep dreaming about the larger picture that this journey is all about.
“Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
- Muir quoted by Samuel Hall Young in Alaska Days with John Muir (1915) chapter 7
